Tooltipy
This is a great replacement for Explanatory Dictionary which I’ve used on a number of sites but which has not been updated for over 3 years. This plugin gives me nearly all the features I had with Explanatory Dictionary.
But I do miss having a shortcode to wrap around text to exclude a particular occurrence. For example with Explanatory Dictionary I could use [no-explanation]some keyword[/no-explanation] to exclude particular instances on a page. This was useful when I had too many occurrences of the same keyword on a page. Perhaps that could be a future enhancement.
This plugin allows me to exclude an entire page or post, which will be very useful.
In general, I find it suits my needs nicely, and I received great support to add some custom css. Thank you, Jamel.Z, for this plugin.

This is a very easy-to-use plugin. The support is fantastic. Even with the free version you will be able to create tooltips and a glossary in “no-time”. The widget gives your audience a very nice overview of all terms used on your webpage.

I was looking for a tooltip plugin that just worked. This one does and it has plenty of options for customization (e.g. the ability to include/exclude classes etc).

this plugin is the best one after I try all glossary and tooltips plugins but there is one thing. All key words are staying in source of web. Some post used only 10 keyword but it loaded all 5000 keywords that not in used. Can it load only keyword in the post only. Thank you for your great plugin and your time in it . ❤”
I have been a user for Tooltipy for a year or so. Although, I have the free version, every-time I had an issue and I contact the developer, he got to me right away. Then he worked with me on th issue step and step to resolve it ( And he never fails:)
It is because of his excellent support and generous attitude, that I will be switching to pro version soon, as I feel that he will always be there for his customers and that is the most important thing when buying plugins.
